CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATIONSocial Welfare
Christian Development Association aims to bring social upliftment and development to Christian communities. As they belong to a minority section in our country most of the time they remain unreachable to the available facilities and advantages in society. We are working for them to be developed in every aspect. We arrange campaigns for them to make them aware of their rights and duties. All these are done with well-planned programs by including social and moral values in them. Women and children remain at the center of these programs as we emphasize more on their development in bringing their community to the front end of advancing India.
Educational Welfare
Education is the most powerful weapon to deal with all hazards and struggles on this planet. We are committed to ensuring all children the access to proper and quality education. Christian Development Association arranges several camps to make them and their parents aware of the importance of getting an education and being literate. In these camps, we offer them free educational facilities and distribute study-related materials and educational stuff to 50 underprivileged school students will help them to get equal opportunities for education. The project will help poor students to be conscious of education which
will reduce the problem of school drop-out to some extent. We also counsel parents supporting them to let their children especially the girls, go to school and make all needed arrangements for their education. we also arrange educational scholarship programs for the serious students of these backward sections to support them in their education. We offer various vocational training and career counseling session for the students to guide them to choose the right career options.
Religious and Spiritual Enrichment Programs
Our country is the shelter of many religions and all citizens are given the right to follow their own religious and spiritual beliefs. Christian Development Association is concerned with the religious welfare of Christian society. We believe that religion plays an important role in most societies as it remains the opium and hangover cure for the masses. We take responsibility to make people aware of their religious rights and duties and regarding this, we keep on arranging several campaigns to increase church attendance through effective pastoral care and through evangelistic activities.
Health Care and Blood Donation Camp
Health is the wealth of human life. Good health is a precious gift for us. People of the backward section are lacking basic healthcare needs as they do not have enough ability to get treated with good medication. So we organize several camps to promote the importance of maintaining healthy habits and we provide them with ophthalmic Care, Geriatric Care, and other General Health Care facilities free of cost and provide supplementary nutritious food for the children who are suffering from malnutrition.
We also arrange Blood donation Camps for dealing with those times of emergency often people find it difficult to get a blood bag since they do not know
their blood donation camp in order to make the people aware of the importance of life, which
we live out. We also arrange awareness programs on HIV/AIDS to make people aware of this life-threatening disease and its negative effects. We also make people know how they can be protected from getting this and uproot this from our society.
Tree Plantation Programme
We know that Tress play a huge role in purifying and conserving our environment as they are a source of energy. But now they have been cut down in large numbers, which is a danger to all human beings, as well as animals. Global warming, pollution, and increasing sea levels are unfortunate results caused by the reduction of the number of trees. Regarding this, we arrange several programs on planting trees through different initiatives and plantation drives like “Mission Green earth”. Through these camps, people are encouraged to treat the plant as sacred to treat trees. We plant different types of trees like neem, mango tree, pimple, and forest tree plant in the village area.
Clean India Awareness Camp
Swachh Bharat Mission, a mission to make India clean, was initiated by the Govt Of India with the determination to clean up the surroundings of schools, roads, and various infrastructures of Maharastra. Christian Development Association has taken the responsibility to carry forward this cleanliness campaign drive to make the environment of schools free from any dirt, trash, or a heap of garbage. We arrange cleanliness campaigns in schools and make the students and people aware to keep their surroundings clean to stay healthy.
A key feature of the campaign is to ensure that every school in India has a set of functioning and well-maintained water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities. We try to promote the maintenance of proper sanitization and hygiene for being healthy and safe from illnesses and diseases.
Food Distribution
Food is a basic human right in our country. Christian Development Association believes that all people should have the right to get fed. Keeping this in mind we conduct distribution programs for needy people belonging to underprivileged and backward communities. We also try to distribute dry food like biscuits, chocolates, supplementary nutritious food, etc to the children, and our volunteers remain active to serve them and putting smiles on these little faces.
Book Distribution
Christian Development Association agrees that the book is the true friend of human beings. Books play a crucial role in accessing and continuing educational life. Children and students from marginalized sections are lacking their need for continuing education. Keeping this in our mind Christian Development Association is organizing a book distribution camp for them on regular basis. We feel pleased to see the wave of happiness among the children when they get the books in their hands. We urge you to support us with your contribution to arrange books or donate your books piled up on your table without use to the children of marginalized minority sections.
